Bumped into a junior from JC on the way home today.. He's just started business school studies after NS.. with all the great dreams and ambitions about his future career.. and I looked at myself.. why am I settling for less when I can go for more?

OK I know I neglected this blog for almost a month.. was darn busy... but apart from that I simply had no mood to blog... was feeling darn lousy abt all the office politics... yes school also got politics ok? And it's getting from bad to worst... wonder if I should stay there for long... perhaps should start thinking about what's next after I get my bonus next March...

Been OT-ing a lot lately.. OT-ed last Friday and took a cab home as I was really tired.. and met this weird taxi driver.. had this little conversation that goes like this:
Taxi driver: You looked tired
Me: Yah.. been doing lotsa OT lately
Taxi driver: You better take a break and rest.. and spend time with your family and friends... and yoru boyfriend
Me: I don't have a boyfriend now...
Taxi driver: it's ok.. you are still young... can take your time... but don't take too long... or else you may just forget that you need a boyfriend...
The last line was like hitting the nail on the head... been beginning to feel that I can live without men... I mean, I'm surviving and doing fine without one right? But then again, 10 years later, do I wanna wake up alone every morning?
Sigh......

Brought my lava lamp (birthday gift from the choir gang years back) to office the other day... these days I'm spending so much time at work that I feel I need to make my office more comfortable... still looking ard for stuff to make my office more cosy... anyway this is what it is at the moment...
Btw RP celebrated 3rd anniversary recently... had the anniversary dinner at Al Dente... the theme was Mamma Mia and my department went there in Mafia outfit... all dressed in black... completed with shades and tattoos...
