It's decided.

I'm applying for:
(1) SQ trainee station manager
(2) CX management trainee

After months of consideration, these 2 jobs suit what I want to do in the next 5 years of my life - see the world, get a reasonably good pay that can afford the kind of life that I would like to live, and have a job whereby I am allowed to rotate between different departments/offices so I don't get bored.

Feel that I'm a step closer to my dream. At least I've decided to give it a try now. Don't want to wait til 1 day when I'm too old to go overseas.

With SQ trainee station manager's job, I would probably be out of Singapore for the next 5 years. For the CX job, I will probably be anywhere else but Singapore til I quit. I will still come back to visit and keep in touch with all good friends so it's not that bad yah?

Have prepared my resume for the SQ job. Once there is an opening, I'll mail it out right away. Am right now filling up the form for CX.

I really have no idea if I stand a chance. I may end up not getting both the jobs, but the important thing is that at least I tried. No regret. And honestly speaking, there is nothing to lose.

Went for the monthly gathering with the choir gang yesterday... thanks to GZ for organizing the outing! Went for ktv at suntec first before going for chocolate buffet at Fullerton... ktv with the gang is fun as usual... the chocolate buffet was nice too! a nice change from the places we usually go to... feel so tai tai... muahahaha... Grilled Greenie on her "changed status", people watched, complained about work, etc etc...

How do I live without them?? Nice to have close friends going through the same stage in life with you and they think the way you think...

CX MT programme is open for application... still pondering if I should apply... they are super selective... and if I got it, it means I will spend the next 2 years in HK and a few years after that else where... a "safer" option would be SQ... at least if I need to go oversesas I know I will come back to Singapore some years later...

Think need to do more preparation... cannot leave it to fate already (after reading ZX's blog on the loser song)...
