2 very fun gatherings with the VJChoir gang within 1 week! Crazy as usual especially when we were all having sugar-high from the chocolate and cheesecakes from Secret Recipes last night.. And then it came to the time to say bye bye to Ruoxi.. was a weird feeling to feel sad (coz we won't get to see Ruoxi til dunno when) and feel high (from the chocolate cake) at the same time..

This week was much better than last week.. the Understand Test episode was over on Tuesday when big boss decided to just cancel the test and not have retest (even though Carrie, Choon and I actually finished setting the retest questions.. on a SATURDAY in office I must add).. but at least it is all over..

Rest of the week was spent on clearing my backlog and being the official editor to proof read all the astract SK is sending in for a conference.. alamak don't even know what he's writing about... it's all related to biomedical engineering and half the words look like Greek to me... then he keep asking if I understand what he's writing... arghz... I am not that clever lor!

Planning to go diving with Shu instead end of June.. the weekend from 24-26 June.. Going Pulau Aur I think.. hope it will really come through.. Gonna call the instructor on Monday to firm things up..

Arghz... why msn audio has to fail me today?

It was the first time SK initiated a chat on msn audio instead of the usual messenger.. moreover he's not feeling well... it was exactly the time he needed someone by his side and the stupid msn phone did not work!!! tried to do a test with CC (who's in Perth) later and it didn't work either... must be something wrong with the the msn server...

Why it has to be today? Why? Why? Wei se mo?

Am writing this the second time coz Blogger didn't save my previous entry... Anyway shall put multiple updates in one post due to the lack of time & energy...

(1) Understanding test nightmare
Administered the first understanding test for the module I'm coordinating this semester.. and it screwed up.. the online test system went down... in fact the system went down the day before as well and my module chair and I had to last minute print 2000 test script.. stayed in office til 11 plus that night.. then true enough the system went down again next day... then the contingency plan also screwed up becoz of some stupid reasons... then have to do retest next week.. which means more work... sigh...

(2) Diving trip in June
It might be off... LW is not going becoz of lack of money.. haven't heard from Shu yet... but heard from Uncle that I can actually get the lesson at $299 only instead of the usual $450 if I go with the Diving interest group in school... then again don't really wanna go diving with students... then the next best option is to use the privilege from Visa Mini... it'll cost $399...

(3) Dinner with Es & John
Went for dinner with Es & John yesterday night.. after spending the whole afternoon in the office... as usual I was late coz I was stuck in the office trying to set the retest questions with Carrie & Choon.. Went to Fish & Co at Suntec.. had loads of calamari... yummy... did lotsa catching up there which was continued later at Esplanade... which was our hang out long time ago when we used to go out after service... John said I should talk to SK more and drop more hints... and he had this whole theory on how men are hunter and prey shouldn't try to get the hunter but then prey should make themselves visible to hunter... don't quite understand also... so chim!

Went for my usual workout session at Calfit... getting addicted to it... and then I still haven't received my Visa Mini Calfit card!! Managed to call up and they say I'll received it within the next 2 weeks.. Which means I may not be able to go next week... Boo hoo... and have to go for yucky Amore... which has NO shower facilities...

Jac and gang is back from Japan.... looks like they had a very fun trip.. Looking forward to see the photo!!

Finally got my day off today for the extra work done donkey years ago.. yipee! Been quite a hectic week trying to rush out course material, test questions, plan new module, do lit review for research and "bashing" colleagues up (with my cushion) for being late in submitting their part of course material.. Gab was especially poor thing to have both me and Carrie bashing him up the whole of yesterday as course material is up due for review next Monday and he still hasn't started work on it...

Been trying to call the credit card centre as I've yet to receive the priviledge card.. hate it when it's those "for english, press 1. for mandarin press 2..." I must have pressed a dozen buttons and waited for like 10 minutes before I finally got through to the customer service officer.. sigh...

Nothing's been firmed up yet for the diving trip.. Uncle is sick again and therefore very paiseh to keep chasing him for the details for the trip.. Heard from Juliet that there are a number of ppl in RP who are qualified to teach diving.. Maybe can check out with them as well....

I am going diving in June!!!!!!!!!!!

Uncle (my rather hunky colleague) said that he doesn't mind teaching me and Shu and LW diving and help us get our PADI Open Water.. He's gonna make booking for pool sessions and arrange for open water dive in Tioman.. YEAH!!! Uncle is the BEST!

Told SK about it and he seems a little weary of Uncle.. For so long he doesn't care and now he's gan cheong.. He's going to regret not being nice to me and I'll just let him be...

Muahahahahahaha.....

7 May (Sat) - KW's matrimony in the morning, Workout at Calfit, KW's wedding dinner at night
8 May (Sun) - Church
13 May (Fri) - My long overdued off-in-lieu, celebrate Mum's birthday

Mid term:
June - Diving trip with Shu & LW (hopefully...)

Sept - Bangkok trip with colleagues (?)

Long term:
Next year - trip to Hong Kong

Been a hectic week.. busy with organizing an event for our industry partners.. managed to get Expressions' CEO and OSIM's CFO.. plus the big bosses would be there.. so cannot screw up... super stressed... stayed back and worked late every night.. super relieved now that it's over.. told myself that I must enjoy myself and not work for the weekend (except for marking the 2 classes which I had absolutely no time to do so the whole of last week)..

Went dinner & KTV with the VJChoir gang on Friday.. Ruoxi is back in town to join us.. we were as crazy as always when it comes to KTV.. lots of screaming into mic and pretending to be crazy fans and drooling over Wang Li Hong...

Went for the Intro Step class at Calfit yesterday.. quite fun for someone like me who's quite hopeless in remembering dance step.. tiring though..

Today's basically luah-ing at home and read and watch TV.. Shiok.. Haven't got a chance to do this in a long long time... Also managed to catch up with rene online.. seems like alot of thing happened to her recently.. or is it because I've been to busy to find out what's going on??

OK shall shun4 bian4 update on last week.. went to watch Boeing Boeing with LW.. it was super hilarious!!! Great show!!! Especially Emma who acted as Junko the Ms JAL.. sooo funny!! One of the funniest play I've watched.. Of course, must give special thanks to LW for treating me to the show as belated bday gift.. :)
